My Musical Theme Research & Collection Story
In April 2017, I read an article about Adolf Sax, the inventor of the saxophone. The article had an image of the Belgium 200 Francs note with Adolphe Sax featured on it. The design and colors of the note attracted me. This very note I bought in Brussels on May 8, 2017, initiated my musical theme collection.
What I thought was a simple project turned out to be very huge and research intensive. As of October 2021, I have 278 notes with musicians, composers, musical instruments, opera houses, theaters, etc…
My musical want list is still fat and it keeps on growing. Please contact me if you can identify a banknote with musical theme or if you would like me to share my want list with you.
